In 2005 Anacortes Sister City Association hosted all four of our Sister Cities. Our friends from Sidney crossed the water to help us celebrate our Independence Day Celebration and march with us in our 4th of July parade. There was also a "Town Crier" competition. Some adults accompanied the kids from Kisakata and we all managed to have a great time. Two students from Vela Luka spent part of the summer with us. And finally, in September, ten members of Kalinka, in Lomonosov, joined us for almost two weeks. Both the Kisikata visitors and the Lomonosov visitors were presented with an original quilted wall hanging by Annie Lastar.
