Vela Luka is located at the northwest end of the island of Korčula at the end of a beautiful harbor. Vela Luka’s 4500 residents enjoy a Mediterranean climate, being part of the 1800 islands that line the Croatian Coast. At various times over the past 100 years, numerous Vela Luka residents have migrated to America, many eventually settling in Anacortes.
